We love the Mets. We celebrate their miseries as well as their triumphs—that, after all, is what it means to be a Mets fan. We worry that their current financial problems might cause the franchise to be dismantled, and we wanted to show our support. The best way to do so, we figured, was to have these shirts ready for Opening Day.
